CNC Application Engineer/ Senior Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:-

  1. Responsible for pre-sales activities to promote Engineering software/solution focusing manufacturing solution of CAM programming. They shall be willing to travel anywhere within Malaysia.
  2. Responsible for pre-sales duties which include demonstrating the company products to potential customers at customers' site or via web presentation.
  3. Provide comprehensive technical and application demonstrations, understand requirements, and run benchmarks whenever necessary.
  4. Understand NC code (G Code) and provide post processor development and optimization services according to customer requirement.
  5. Provide consulting services at the customer site. Understand customer need, work closely with them. Develop proposal and statement of works for projects with customers.
  6. Responsible for providing exceptional pre-sales technical support to the client, marketing department and prospects to help drive sales opportunities of our products.
  7. Answer customer questions relating to products, competitive products, and technical issues relating to product integration within the customer's environment.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction to promote customer retention by upholding quality of services through engagement with customer.
  9. Conduct on-site, classroom and web-based software demonstrations and training.
  10. Assist customer in troubleshooting software application issue and provide solution or workaround in a professional manner.
  11. Participate in research and development of new technical content, product/services package to cultivate engineering solution community.
  12. Any other tasks assigned by your superior or management.

Requirements:-

  1. Experience with Milling/ Turning CNC Machine
  2. Experience with G-code/M-code modification
  3. Experience with Milling CNC machine handling
  4. Experience with First Article Inspection process (FA)
  5. Experience with CNC tooling
  6. Experience with CAM Software
