Support the development of OHS policies and programs
- Advise, promote and development on various safety
- related topics/ activity hazard analyses (noise level, use of machinety etc.)
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
- Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.
- Ensure preventive measures, administrative control and personal protective equipment are implemented and used
- Investigate and report accidents and near misses
- Responsible for ensuring the workplace is safe and compliant with OSHA regulations. This includes arranging for mandated testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultants.
- To ensure preparation and implementation of the Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP). The safety officer coordinates all site safety and health activities, including site inspections, accident investigations, safety training, and hazard abatement.
- Reviews and approves all subcontractor’s safety plans. This helps to ensure that the subcontractor is aware of the potential hazards on the job site and has taken the necessary precautions to protect workers.
- Responsible for verifying that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to the relevant government agencies. This ensures that the agency has accurate information about the number and types of injuries that have occurred and can take steps to improve safety in the workplace.

**REQUIREMENT**
- Registered with DOSH as a Qualified Safety & Health Officer and Green Book required.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related to the occupational safety and health field
- Familiar with safety standard concepts and best practices for construction/substation/environment.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,999.00 per month
