Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable Malaysian safety and health laws, regulations, and DOSH requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Safety and Health policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRARC) activities.
  • Investigate and prepare reports for accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain and update all safety records, statistics, and documentation as required by law.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in safety and health performance.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular site safety visits, audits, and inspections.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities, clients, and stakeholders on safety and health-related matters.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, inductions, and other safety-related sessions to ensure all site personnel understand and comply with safety procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia (holding a valid Green Book).
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in [construction- infra].
  • Good knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other related Malaysian regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in report writing and Microsoft Office applications.
