The duties of the monitoring and evaluation service specialist are as follows:

- Review the contract documents for the M&E project.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant health and safety legislation.
- Check the sizing of M&E services.
- On-site test supervision and reporting.
- Conducting M&E facility inspections.
- Monitoring the progress of works via building monitoring.
- Compilation of records of on-site M&E activities, conditions and resources.
- On-site preparation of project diaries.
- Communicate issues and requests to the Resident Engineer.
- Issuance of construction instructions to the contractor for monitoring and evaluation as required.
- Assist the Quantity Surveyor in recording measurements.
- Attending and participating in design and site team meetings.
- Planning the monitoring and evaluation work in progress.
- Preparing the schedules of defects.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
