Responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Building drawings to ensure consistency and constructability.
  • Oversee the on-site implementation of M&E works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and progress of M&E works, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project schedules.
  • Liaise closely with the main contractor, sub-contractors, consultants, and the client to resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
  • Prepare regular reports on site progress, quality issues, and any non-conformances.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
  • To assist in ad-hoc assignments from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.

  • Must have completed at least one high-rise project in the capacity of a Resident Engineer or M&E Coordinator.

  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and M&E systems.

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in reviewing technical drawings and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to work at Taman Desa Tebrau, Johor Bahru.
