Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) works with structural and architectural teams.
  • Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with design and project specifications.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and monitor M&E work schedules, progress reports, and coordination drawings.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify that works are carried out according to approved drawings and safety requirements.
  • Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems.
  • Attend and lead coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
  • Manage variation orders, materials approval, and technical documentation related to M&E works.
  • Ensure all M&E activities comply with local authorities' regulations (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga, BOMBA, JKR, etc.).
  • Support the project team in ensuring timely project delivery and handover.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in M&E coordination within the construction industry.
  • Good understanding of M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
