**Job Summary**:
The Legal Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive in-house legal support and advisory services to the group. This role involves managing legal operations, reviewing and drafting contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, and mitigating legal risks to ensure that all business activities are conducted in line with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, manage, and provide professional and efficient in-house legal services and advice
- Oversee and supervise the delivery of overall legal and advisory functions to ensure effective support across all business units.
- Manage and coordinate legal support in areas related to **governance, policies, processes, and standards**.
- Review and draft legal documents and contracts upon request, ensuring clarity, compliance, and mitigation of potential legal risks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate **legal and commercial agreements**, representing the company in contract negotiations and discussions with counterparties.
- Manage **litigation and dispute resolution matters**, including coordination with external counsel, company secretaries, and relevant stakeholders; ensure timely updates on case progress and outcomes.
- Provide legal advice on diverse matters including **corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law**, and **regulatory compliance** to support strategic business decisions.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing **company policies and procedures** to ensure legal soundness and alignment with current regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification; admission to the Malaysian Bar preferred.
- Minimum **6-8 years of relevant experience** in corporate, commercial, or in-house legal roles.
- Strong knowledge of **corporate and commercial law**, **employment law**, and **intellectual property**.
- Experience managing external counsel and handling litigation or dispute resolution matters.
- Excellent **drafting, negotiation, and communication skills** with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
