Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for solar and bio energy projects, including project structuring, land matters, licensing, PPA, EPC, O&M, and JV agreements.
- Advise on regulatory requirements under SEDA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB, and other authorities relevant to renewable energy operations.
- Review and negotiate agreements with project partners, landowners, investors, contractors, and government agencies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including JV agreements, service agreements, vendor contracts, procurement agreements, NDAs, and financing-related documents.
- Support corporate governance matters including board documentation, shareholder resolutions, and statutory filing requirements.
- Advise senior management on legal implications of business strategies and policies.
- Identify legal and regulatory risks across operations and implement mitigation strategies
- Handle dispute resolution matters involving contractors, partners, suppliers, or regulatory bodies.
- Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation, arbitration, land matters, or regulatory investigations.
- Support due diligence exercises for fundraising or corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with Project, Corporate Finance, HR, and Operations teams on legal matters.
