_**Job Summary**_
The Account Assistant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliation, and assisting in month-end closing. This role ensures financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- **Job Descriptions**_
- Perform daily data entry of accounting transactions (AP, AR, GL).
- Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
- Assist in monthly bank reconciliation and petty cash management.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
- Support monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and other departments for payment and billing matters.
- Assist in SST preparation and submission.
- Handle any ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor or Finance Manager.
- Can work under minimum supervision
- **Job Requirements**:_
- Diploma or LCCI in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates with strong internship experience are also encouraged to apply).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or others).
- Good attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and SST is an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
