**Responsibilities**:

- To manage the smooth running of the QS Department.
- Tender and contract documents administration, prepare BQ, cost estimate, cost control, and budgeting.
- Prepare, monitor, and guide the Junior Quantity surveyor for submission of claims or variations and final accounts to clients and contractors every month.
- Liaise with client, consultants, main contractors for follow up on Payment Certificate.
- Coordinate with the finance department on payment related matters, monitoring monthly projection of cash flow, physical report for the on-going projects and
- Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS.
- Attend site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements:

- **
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field with minimum of 2 years’ related working experience in the construction/engineering industries
- Analytical with strong numerical and financial management skills.
- Strong knowledge of pre and post contract works with ability to plan, perform and guide the team with practical action from Pre Tender towards end of Post Tender works.
- Proactive, with good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates innovative approaches to problem solving and an ability to negotiate across various levels of industry players.
- Able to lead a team to deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Strong command in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
