**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage effectively a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors and ensure development to the tam is of high integrity and quality.

2. Direct and control a team of Assistant Quantity Surveyor activities which include coordination of all quotation work and material and stocks management, certification of quality of materials used and ensuring timely and accurate progress payments.

3. Monitor the Area Offices to ensure that the preparation, submission and negotiation of progress payment claims, variation order claims, final account claim and other costs related matters are effectively executed.

4. Initiate innovative ideas and solutions in related field and make necessary recommendation to the management committee for adoption and implementation.

5. Liaise and advice Area Managers on contractual matters that has cost implication to the projects which include scope of work, responsibility and obligation as specified in the contract.

6. Establish and maintain rapport with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers to enable effective contributing role in the preparation of sub-contractors/suppliers agreement for the benefit of the company.

7. Develop and conduct productivity study on the key elements of work at the project site and recommend for implementation for higher productivity.

**Job Requirement**:
1. At least Degree in Quantity Surveying or it's equivalent.

2. Minimum at least 1 to 2 years experience in related field.

3. Good communication and interpersonal skills with high proficiency in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

4. Good work attitude, flexible, able to work independently and willing to take on challenges.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
