About the role

Classic Green Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a full-time Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analysing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and construction budgets
  2. Negotiating and administering construction contracts and subcontracts
  3. Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they remain within budget
  4. Assisting with the preparation of progress claims, variations, and final accounts
  5. Providing cost advice and recommendations to project managers and clients
  6. Identifying and managing contractual risks and disputes
  7. Collaborating with other project team members to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction management field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  3. Excellent understanding of contract administration, cost control, and project management principles
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
  6. Effective communication and negotiation skills
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
