About the role

Siacon Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Johor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry, responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects. What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure that they remain within budget
  • Preparing payment certificates and processing invoices
  • Providing advice and support to project managers and other stakeholders on financial matters
  • Identifying and managing risks associated with construction projects
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using construction-related software and tools
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and industry standards
