The Wonderful Company's Global Sourcing Team's mission is to support our operating companies to research, identify, negotiate, and bring the most cost-efficient and capable suppliers into our supply chain. The Regional Sourcing & Product Development Manager will be responsible for supporting these initiatives, planning and execution of key sourcing strategies, procurement operations, Quality Assurance, optimizing shipping logistics and providing value to our diverse businesses with lower cost of goods, improved quality and superior service levels.

You will be working on projects for our reputable companies, Fiji Water, Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, POM Wonderful, JUSTIN & Landmark Wines, Lewis Cellars, Teleflora, NPDL, Wonderful Citrus, Suterra, Wonderful Orchards & Nurseries.

Reporting to the Regional Director (Asia Pacific), we are looking for a resourceful and experienced individual who can navigate ambiguity and collaborate with multiple businesses and vendors and establish strong relationships with the stakeholders to jointly drive results. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for broad exposure in sourcing and purchasing within a growing multi-billion-dollar business. There is a lot of variety in this role, where no two days are the same as you will continually be challenged to source and develop a diverse range of commodities from an assortment of existing and new suppliers across Asia.

**What you will be doing**:

- Working cross-functionally with internal business stakeholders on a variety of initiatives to define their sourcing and procurement needs
- Analyzing supply chains and business needs to determine optimal sourcing and purchasing options and strategies
- Supporting various Global Sourcing activities to include supplier/commodity/category research and formulating and executing strategic sourcing initiatives
- Conducting vendor identification and selection process including developing, analyzing and managing RFI/RFP/RFQs process and negotiating strategies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to support supplier management
- Effectively documenting, communicating and preparing supplier recommendations for decision-makers
- Order fulfillment including cost, quality and logistics

This role will include Asia and International travel as required to conduct sourcing and due diligence activities. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position based in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand or India. You will have the right to live and work in your country of origin at the time of applying.
**Qualifications** What you will bring to the table**:

- At least 8-10 years’ experience in strategic sourcing and vendor selection and management in international companies
- Sourcing experience & exposure to supplier network in packaging, marketing, MRO, machinery & equipment/farming related products
- Sound knowledge in product specifications, lead time management, quality assurance, price negotiation strategies and shipping logistics
- Excellent communicator with people from different countries at different levels (Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English)
- Resourcefulness and with good supplier connections in Asia
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability - defines problems, collates data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions/solutions
- Sharp business acumen and strong leadership skills and independence in carrying out sourcing projects
- Ability to influence and negotiate the best rates
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, multiple commodities or food packaging industries is preferred
