**Summary**:
The Material Planner (Production) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, components, and packaging required to support smooth production operations. This role acts as the link between production, procurement, and suppliers to avoid material shortages or delays that may impact delivery commitments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule material requirements based on the production plan and customer demand.
- Monitor daily production schedules to ensure sufficient materials are available at all times.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to follow up on deliveries and resolve shortages.
- Work closely with production teams to adjust plans in case of urgent orders, machine breakdowns, or changes in demand.
- Track and control material inventory to balance between overstock and shortages.
- Prepare and update Material Requirement Planning (MRP) reports.
- Identify potential risks in the material supply chain and escalate when needed.
- Ensure all materials meet quality standards and production specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and reduce waste.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in production planning/material planning (preferably in manufacturing industry).
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute production changes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
