Cross Border Propositions Manager

**Job Summary**
- The Cross Border Proposition Manager is a leadership role responsible for driving the growth of International Banking and cross border Small Medium Enterprise Business and affluent segments. The role holder is instrumental in developing and executing strategies to strengthen the Bank's presence and market share within the China corridor in line with current FDI opportunities arising from the region.

- Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) serves more than 11 million clients in many of the world’s fastest-growing markets. Our client continuum spans from Mass Retail to Affluent, including high-net worth clients served by our Private Bank. We leverage digital banking channels with a human touch to provide clients with differentiated products and services such as deposits, payments, financing, wealth management and personalized advice. We also support small business clients with their business banking needs.
- Responsible for expanding the Bank's reach in foreign markets through the introduction of traditional and innovative customer-focused and industry-focused products and solutions backed by seamless customer service, with the ultimate objective of creating long-term relationships with International Banking customers.
- Responsible for managing the development and subsequent implementation of Cross-Border and International Banking leading practices across all activities/ operations comprising International Banking to promote efficiency in work processes, ultimately resulting in increased customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the roll-out of International Banking and Cross-border products and services that leverage the bank’s network across multiple markets by the respective International Banking functions to ensure achievement of pre-set targets/ objectives, including but not limited to business growth and expansion plans.
- Responsible for driving the growth of International Banking and cross-border SME businesses, delivering exceptional financial solutions to clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and client needs in various international markets
- Lead and support the development of long and short-term strategic initiatives to plan, inform and provide recommendations to optimize performance in terms of revenue, client quality, etc.
- Actively engage with prospective cross-border and International Bank clients to understand their banking needs and present tailored banking solutions
- Develop partnerships with foreign institutions and external cross-border channels / platforms to expand the bank’s potential cross-border client base
**Qualifications**
- Honours degree (CGPA 3.0 or better) and / or relevant professional qualifications.
- Possess all relevant investment & insurance certifications and licensing.
- More than 3 years’ experience in banking with demonstrable knowledge of banking practices and financial products.
- Favourable track record in managing sales and / or operations or demonstrated ability to achieve strong sales performance.
- Ability to coach, inspire and mobilise Branch team members of various levels to deliver exceptional performance.
- Demonstrated ability to establish a service culture.
