Shipping Coordinator

**Job Scope**:

- Responsible for shipping operations include planning, optimization the shipping process and comply to the regulation.
- Responsible in the strategizing and planning for shipping & distribution activities to ensure the smooth operation of shipping finished goods for customers.
- To ensure the relevant documentation has been prepared and attached to the shipment of finished goods such as Delivery Order, Invoice, loading plans, truck fill design & etc.
- To work closely with internal departments especially Sales & Warehouse department to ensure on
- time shipment and in accordance to the agreed schedule.
- To plan, establish work schedules, assignments, and logistics sequences to ensure transportation and distribution of finished goods are performed in an accurate, timely and cost effective manner.
- To ensure inventory accuracy through timely & systematic physical count & update receiving, issuing, rejection control & material transfer in SAP system.
- To ensure that effective communication with customers regarding shipping matters.
- To ensure on-time and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers.
- Control standards in broad area of product inspection and logístical inspection.
- Thorough understanding of inventory policy and procedure, especially shipping and delivery.
- To promote & inculcate safety, health & environment and quality awareness among the workforce.

LOGISTIC
- Perform inventory transactions and ensure all inventory transaction are updated within timeline and stock accuracy
- Able to supply the production WIP parts & packaging as requested within the timeline
- Components - inventory stock accuracy, transaction are updated on time, support assembly request within timeline
- To develop and improve warehouse SOP, to ensure all logistics and warehouse operations are in order.
- Lead; train; guide store and logistics staff
- Inspect goods to tally part number and in right quantity with DO
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse include FG, WIP and packaging as well
- Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials
- To respond and ensure effective coordination between sales and customers on deliveries.
- To monitor the incoming and outgoing goods in timely manner.
- Ensure relevant rules and standards of safety; security and warehousing are complied.
- Assure accuracy in inventories record keeping and control on SAP inventory system.
- Ensure the right quantity of goods and item are loaded onto vehicle.
- Circle stock count/ Annual stock count.
- Inventory aging/ Scrap Management/ Material Master Information Management.
- Logistic cost forecast and accrual
- Work with shipping to monitor shipment status; communicate with forwarder; proceed Good -Received in system; payment documents preparation; etc.

**Requirements**:

- Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liase with China counterpart
- Preferably with minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in handling warehouse activity; shipping documentation.
- Knowledge of SAP an added advantage
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Capable to handle stress and meet deadlines
- Flexible and willing to learn and work as a team.
