Driving and supporting markets to create demand forecasts based on prior performance and future trend by maintaining the demand planning system (SAP IBP), ensuring correctness of data and providing value added analysis to support decision making with a goal to provide the supply chain with the most accurate forecast possible.
- **Forecast accuracy**: Analyzes the gap between the forecast and actual demand and monitor forecast accuracy to support, coach and challenge the market SC/Commercial to further improve the market forecasting.
- Maintains demand planning master data and other input to the system to ensure that demand cascades accurately to supply planning and to ensure better statistical forecast output.
- Extracts raw data and reports from source systems (IBP, Power BI, SAP, iScala) to support ad hoc and recurrent reporting requirements.
- Analyzes performance and trends, identifies opportunities and risks, and proactively communicates to cross-functional teams.
- Assists the markets in the development of forecast by providing insights and analysis on new products introductions, seasonal trend by history, understanding on cannibalization effects /promo analysis, product allocation in case of capacity constraints.
- Ensures demand forecast is shared/received in the format, level of detail, and timing required by all customers and supply chain partners with documented assumptions.
- Supports regional and global demand planning initiatives and projects
- Supports demand forecasting process improvement from Market’s perspective with periodical market assessments
