Implementation of an overall effective operational risk management program, which includes incident management and data collection, key risk indicator and operational risk self-assessment.
- Conduct internal operational risk review and assess the adequacy of internal risk control to manage operational risk.
- Lead the team to mitigate operational risk (including people, system and processes) through the development, implementation and execution of preventive and mitigating measures.
- Timely escalation of significant operational risk incident to supervisor and Director, MILO, where applicable to enable informed judgement and immediate remediation action is initiated to mitigate the risk.
- Support the timely preparation and reporting of operational risk to the risk committee and board risk management committee on identified operational risk issues/ findings, and relevant action plans
- Support the activity undertaken by risk owners to ensure that it is aligned with the Bank’s overall strategy and within the Bank/parent company’s risk appetite while ensuring adequate consideration and control of potential risks in activities undertaken by the Bank.
- Appraise Director, MILO on the changes in regulatory requirement on operational risk, new product development, business continuity management and complaint handling and the implication on the bank;
- Provide training and guidance on operational risk management-related areas to business and support units.
- Assist to drive initiatives to build internal knowledge capacity to identify and mitigate existing or emerging operational risk effectively

**Requirement**
- Bachelor’s Degree and above, professional qualifications or certification in operational risk management will be an added advantage.
- 5 - 8 years or more of practical experience through industry work experience. Risk management experience preferred.
- It will be an added advantage with practical experience or exposure to operational risk, compliance, internal audit, and internal control in banking business in particular operational risk assessment methodology, formulating and executing operational risk review plan, conducting operational risk training and awareness to all line of defence.

**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM10,500.00 per month
