Group Security & Resilience Manager/Senior Manager, Third-Party Risk

Reporting line

Director/Head, Third-Party Risk Oversight

Location

Based in Kuala Lumpur. Requirement to travel in Group locations is low (10%)

Purpose of Senior Manager role:
Working with Group functions: Group Technology, Group Finance (particularly Procurement), Group Risk, (particularly Enterprise Risk Management and Operational Risk, Group Compliance), Group-wide Internal Audit and colleagues from other disciplines in Group Security (particularly the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit, Fraud and ABC teams) and Local Business Units (LBUs), the Manager/Senior Manager Third Party Risk will support the Director, TPRM and Head of TPR Oversight in embedding the Group’s TPRM risk management frameworks (including risk appetite statements/tolerances), policies (containing key controls), underlying standards (containing control activities) and key oversight/assurance activities.

Scope
- Assist with implementation and oversee compliance with the Group’s TPRM policies and standards, risk appetite statements, tolerances, Group-wide Operational Standards (GwOS), key controls and aligned control activities.
- Reviews the risk assessment methodology and framework. Performs annual (portfolio) risk assessments, prepares and delivers resulting reports to Risk Leadership Team (RLT).
- Produces management information (MI).
- Maintains a strong working relationship with Procurement, Finance, ABC, Fraud, IT
- Provides input to the activities, work scope, priorities and MI of the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit as a key ‘client’ of this shared monitoring service
- Helps coordinating, driving and reporting on portfolio assurance ‘deep dives’ in LBUs
- Operates the TPRM risk framework for the company.
- Tracks and reports on TPRM incidents.

Accountabil ities

Working closely (daily) with FCIU, ABC, Fraud, Procurement and IT
- Routine contact with business units, Group functions and LBU security teams
- Group functions (such as GwIA, Group Risk, Group Compliance, Group Finance, Group HR, Group Governance and Group Strategy) and various GHO committees as necessary where there is a requirement for cross functional planning, joint papers, presentations or other activities
- Provide support to Group Technology and Procurement in prioritizing activities and managing audits/inspections.

Experience and Qualification

Experience - 5 years or more relevant experience in Operational Risk, or Third Party risk, or audit. Preferred industry (in order of priority)

1. Financial services (Banking, Insurance etc.)

2. Consultancy - Technical Advisory

Technical experience:
1. Experience in implementing and overseeing risk-based standards, processes, and procedures for operational risks or third-party risk

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM20,000.00 per month
