JOB TITLE: COUNTRY IT MANAGER, DATACENTER

Reports to: CTO

Location: Malaysia, Johor Galang Patah

Products: GPU Compute, CPU Compute, Kubernetes, Virtual Servers, Storage, Networking

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee and manage import and export operations, ensuring compliance with Malaysia Customs regulations and trade policies
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize customs clearance processes and minimize risks associated with import and export activities
- Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and government agencies to ensure smooth and efficient shipment processes
- Lead a team of import/export specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Analyse import/export data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and compliance enhancements
- Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other service providers to negotiate favourable terms and resolve operational issues
- Monitor changes in import/export laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts and recommending adjustments to business practices
- Prepare and submit reports, presentations, and documentation related to import/export activities for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations, optimize inventory management, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Represent the company in meetings, seminars, and industry events to stay informed about best practices, market trends, and regulatory developments

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Expertise in Malaysia Customs regulations, import/export compliance, and trade documentation
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and import/export software systems
- Professional certifications in supply chain management or international trade are a plus
