The critical Job Functions of an Marine Assistant are as follows:

- Connect and disconnect loading arm within specified timeframes as per marine SOP, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide assistance and support during emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of port operations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of vessel files and vouchers, organizing them properly before submission to the Assistant Marine Officer for further processing.
- Collaborate with relevant parties to input data into the IPMS accurately and in a timely manner, facilitating effective management of port operations.
- Monitor the availability and readiness of all services required for operations at designated work points, reporting any issues or delays as necessary.
- Regularly inspect and maintain marine equipment and tools according to the prescribed schedule, reporting any malfunctions or defects for prompt resolution.
- Ensure that all parties involved in marine operations comply with TLPT procedures and regulations, promoting adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate with the Safety and Security departments to ensure that all safety checklist requirements are met, contributing to the overall safety and security of port operations.
- Execute any additional tasks assigned by superiors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the Marine Department.
- Participate in safety courses conducted by HSE TLP to enhance emergency preparedness and safety awareness, contributing to a culture of safety within the port environment.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM3,030.00 per month
