**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the global HSE strategy, policies, and objectives aligned with corporate vision.
- Provide HSE leadership across regional project teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Ensure all operations comply with international and local HSE laws, standards, and regulations.
- Set up and manage comprehensive HSE management systems, tailored to support global construction projects, including new data centre developments.
- Serve as the HSE lead for **large-scale overseas construction projects**, overseeing planning, auditing, incident investigation, and reporting.
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain a high standard of health and safety on-site.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing international HSE team.
- Develop training programs and HSE awareness campaigns for all levels of the organization.
- Set KPIs and conduct audits to evaluate performance.
- Regularly report to executive leadership on HSE performance, risks, and improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP) are strongly preferred.
- **Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the data centre industry.**:

- **Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and mechanical & electrical (M&E) industries.**:

- Proven experience **leading HSE for large-scale international construction projects.**:

- Experience in **setting up and deploying HSE systems/regulations from the ground up** is highly desirable.
- **Excellent command of English** - both written and verbal.
- **Fluent in Mandarin** - able to communicate effectively in a bilingual professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of international HSE regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, influencing, and crisis management skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM23,000.00 per month
