Principal Responsibilities: 1. Responsible to perform periodic review on financial closing procedures including analysing and verifying journal entries, reconciliation of general ledgers, balance sheet balances and other relevant schedules. 2. Assist the team to sort out all daily operational issues and work closely with different departments for all issues encountered on daily routine. 3. Attend to all accounting related queries and requests in providing information and explanation as and when needed. 4. Responsible in various projects, system implementations and any other ad hoc assignment when assigned. 5. Maintain an up-to-date technical knowledge in both accounting and tax to train subordinates in executing their tasks. 6. Endure all financial reports and other reports are prepared in accordance with relevant legislations, guidelines and applicable accounting principles standards; of which monthly management report is to be ready and submit to HQ in KL by 10th of the month and subsequently reducing to by 2nd of the month. 7. Ensure all weaknesses in current process and procedures are identified and reported in writing. 8. Ensure all accounting related processes are in compliance with group policies and risk management policies. 9.
