The Association Secretary manages an association or member’s service operations to expand membership, maintain member profiles, dues, as well as deliver member satisfaction, and achieve strategic goals. Acts as the primary management, operational and administrative support for the Associations’ members, and as the first point of contact for all members of association's.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing operational support to the Association Office.
- Recruiting new members and retaining existing ones.
- Developing membership drives and planning for member events.
- Overseeing membership campaigns, including membership recruiting, presentation, direct mail, or media marketing and work to increase members’ involvement and level of support.
- Maintaining membership database and keeping registry of association members.
- Writing promotional materials, designing membership benefits, observing and analyzing member trend and feedback.
- Lodging financial reports with relevant government agency.
- Notification of any changes in office bearers to the government agency that administers laws and regulations governing the incorporation of associations.
- Act as a focal point for the receiving and sending of correspondence on behalf of the association.
- Compile and send out meeting agenda / meeting minutes for board/committee meetings.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
- Presentation and public speaking.
