**Responsibilities**
- Install and configure standalone and high availability databases
- Maintain processes for optimizing database security
- ORACLE database schema designing and assessments
- Monitor database performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to business-users
- Day to Day database monitoring and performance analyst
- Documents IT related procedures and processes to improve overall team knowledge and support
- Patch database and perform version upgrade when necessary
- Develop, manage and test backup and recovery plans
- Be available for on-call support as needed

1.1 Education Background: Degree holder in Information Technology / Computer Science

1.2 Experience: Minimum 5 years or above experience in database administration and support.

1.3 Skills:
1.3.1 A good team player, flexible, able to analyze requirements and meet deadlines.

1.3.2 Ability to treat all internal customers and team members with dignity/respect.

1.3.3 Ability to train and guide lesser-experienced individuals.

1.3.4 Able to uses critical thinking and problem solving skills to evaluate problems for accurate and timely resolution, observing expectations for service level.

1.3.5 Works as a team and as a positive contributing member of a team.

1.3.7 A good knowledge in databases such as Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL and Logistics Application are preferred.

1.3.8 Knowledge in Windows/Linux is an added advantage.

1.3.9 Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.

1.3.10 Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:
