Retail Manager

Tasks
As Retail Manager, you are part of the Marketing team of Market Malaysia responsible to drive retail performance through strategic network development and innovative branded retail strategy, with execution supported by structured processes interfacing with all support functions.

Strategy
- Plan and drive implementation of retail strategy to build a competitive retail model, encompassing branded retail strategy to contribute to sustainable growth of retail business.
- Drive development of branded retail network through branded retail strategy, by creating differentiated value to the network and consumer, increase binding relationship with customer, with professional innovation to uplift the standard of Continental branded retail network.

Retail Process
- Take lead as the process owner to manage retail process through an efficient, structured and compliant process, with traceability of decisions, and track-able timeline.
- Work with Sales and/or IT to set up necessary proecsses / tool for continuous improvement.

Retail Marketing
- Plan and execute dedicated activities to support branded retail network.
- Work with sales to initiate potential collaboration with retail customer.
- Work with Communication Manager to enhance qualitative marketing communication with customer.

Retail Market Intelligence
- Gather and collect reliable data for overall retail landscape, customer satisfaction, market competitiveness, customer behaviour (B2B, B2C), trends and innovations, changes in the market/business environment and as well as best practices, allowing the organization to react fast and accurately.
- Collect data in a qualitative way (e.g interviews with retailers) with the absence of system linking to retail stores.

Purchasing & Legal
- Work with purchasing team to ensure best price at agreed quality requirements for products and services from suppliers.
- Ensure full compliance of all executed decision and process.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
University degree in Business / General Management / Marketing.

**Professional Experience**:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Modern Retail (FMCG/Automotive industry etc.) involving strategy management and operational execution.
Experience in retail-channel with innovative and high standard of retail model.
Experience with international company is added advantage

**Language**:
Fluent in English and Mandarin dialects as the role involves dealing with Mandarin dialects speaking customers
