**Responsibilities**:
**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for our team member who can handle financial reporting, accounting processes, and budgeting for the company. You will be preparing financial updates, forecasting operating and capital expenses, managing month-end and year-end close activities, and driving process improvements.

**THE PERSON**:
You are a results-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills. You possess attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. You are an independent worker and a learner in a fast-paced environment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- ** Financial Reporting**: Prepare and present regular financial updates to the leadership team, covering key areas such as budget, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and headcount.
- ** Budgeting & Forecasting**: Develop and maintain operating and capital expense forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership based on key financial metrics.
- ** Month-End & Year-End Close**: Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- ** Process Improvement**: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- ** Ad-Hoc Projects & Analysis**: Take full ownership of special projects and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by the business.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience in a **financial role** within the **hi-tech industry**.
- Advanced proficiency with **MS Office tools**, particularly Excel, for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with **SAP** or similar financial systems is an advantage.

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
- MBA or CPA preferred
