**Sales Executive**

The Sales & Distribution department consists of a team of Sales personnel responsible for the sales revenue in the designated territories and accounts, from corporate organizations as well as travel agents. The objective of a Sales personnel is to increase AirAsia's market share in offline channels, be the key liaison for the assigned accounts and deliver the give sales target. This role reports to the Sales Manager, Malaysia.

**Responsibilities**

**Business Development**
- Prospecting including conducting cold calls, sales pitch, presentations (via phone, virtual meetings and face-to-face) and attend business events for the purpose of networking and account acquisition
- Prepare market analysis and Request for Proposal (RFP) if needed, in order to drive account acquisition or new sales avenue from existing clients

**Key Account Management**
- Achieve target revenue and growth goals of existing and new accounts for offline sales channels
- Establish monthly touch points with key accounts and at least two annual in-person visits to ensure revenue attainment and support from travel partners
- Identify business development opportunities and report in daily/weekly sales report/meeting as well as provide market feedback on the competitive landscape, opportunities, risks and threats
- Be accountable for completion of all sales tasks inclusive of pre-sales activities (analysis, legal review) and post-sales support (account creation, ticketing-related matters etc.)
- Maintain excellent communication and act as a primary company representative and key liaison between travel partner and AirAsia
- Action on all assigned accounts, tasks, opportunities, leads and respond appropriately in a timely manner
- Plan campaigns to increase brand awareness, account acquisition, retain and/or grow existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling AirAsia's products and services, in line with sales growth
- Provide training and product briefings to clients (if required), events and on-ground activation; which can lead to revenue growth

**Sales Administration, Governance & Reporting**
- Ensure adherence to the working procedures and SOP compliance
- Assist in filing group fares and conduct negotiation with travel partners
- Prepare scheduled and/or adhoc progress and initiative reports for internal stakeholders, as well as key account performance reviews for existing clients
- Ensure adequate self-development and learning to fulfill work accountability

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Strong verbal and written communication skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must
- Pro-active and results-driven and able to work independently
- Self-motivated, good logical thinking and analytical strength in dealing with new exposure
- Good in numbers, administrative tasks and time management
- Ability to work under pressure and work in a tight deadline
- Ability to work as a team with a collaborative management style
- Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional work ethic
- Proficient in Google Suite (Substitute of Microsoft Office Excel, Words and PowerPoint)
- At least two years of working experience in the related field (Sales & Airline Industry) is an added advantage
