**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement and monitor the company’s Safety Management Plan and site-specific safety procedures.
- Organize and lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions for site staff and subcontractors.
- Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and monitor compliance on-site.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and safety-related documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety requirements are incorporated into work plans and activities.
- Ensure all safety signage, emergency equipment, and traffic management measures are properly maintained and visible.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by encouraging hazard reporting and suggestions for improvement.
- Stay updated on local safety laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the construction/engineering industry.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Safety and Health Officer (e.g., SHO by DOSH) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, engineering, or telecommunications.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and hazard control measures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with teams and contractors.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to safety management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
