Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead strategic growth efforts in the **Data Center** sector. This role calls for a results-driven professional who can engage influential stakeholders, champion innovative engineering solutions, and align offerings with the industry’s fast-changing demands.

**Reporting to**: Vice President - Data Center Segment

**About the Role**

This is a sales-focused position where you will be responsible for shaping and executing market engagement strategies to stimulate interest and demand for targeted products and solutions. You will be expected to identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor by showcasing the value of the company’s portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and execute promotional strategies, including technical briefings, solution demonstrations, seminars, and educational initiatives tailored to the target market.
- Develop and maintain a structured plan for customer visits, conduct progress reviews, and extract actionable insights from engagements.
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with key clients to gain deep understanding of their needs while keeping them informed of the latest solutions and benefits.
- Drive impactful marketing activities and communicate strong value propositions using effective engagement techniques.
- Address technical queries from clients and provide support, including performing electrical calculations for consultants and design institutes.
- Align communications and proposals with the company’s offerings and strategic goals.
- Organize and deliver training sessions to enhance client understanding of solutions, systems, and services.
- Manage reporting and administrative tasks related to technical sales and promotional activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Over 5 years of experience in business development or sales support, with a strong background in working with consultants/design teams and involvement in tender specification processes.
- Established network within M&E consultancy and familiarity with Data Center, General Industry, or Semiconductor sectors is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills; collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable.
- Open to frequent travel.

Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
