Assistant Manager Business Intelligence

**Location**:Petaling Jaya, MY**Job Summary**:
- Perform, maintain, and optimize the data warehouse, Business Intelligence data integrity, as well as reporting platform and business requirement, to ensure business needs that scale both technically and operationally are delivered with high service levels**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and enhanced existing in-house data warehouse ETL process (SQL & SSIS), analytics tools (Power BI), and reporting platforms (SAP Business Intelligence Business Object)
- To be able to develop, design, and implement new analytics tools based on business stakeholder requirements.
- Investigate reporting issues reported by stakeholders, analysis the problems and identify root cause and ensuring speedy resolution and proposing solutions within service level expectations.
- Gathering, managing, and documenting stakeholder requirements, transforming them into Business Requirements & Functional Requirements Documents with quality standards documentation.
- To provide 1st level user support for global analytics tool and 2nd level support for local analytics tool
- To maintain a professional and proactive approach in meeting stakeholder needs and expectations as to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
- Conduct internal & external BI reporting tools training to stakeholder
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent
- Must have at least 5 years working experience & proficient in Microsoft SQL data warehouse, BI Reporting tools (SAP Business Object business intelligent & Power BI), Visual Studio (Integration Services) and data analytics and visualization.
- Experience creating, integrating dashboards to present data in a meaningful and interactive manner
- Demonstrate visual design skills used to create information-dense and easy-to-understand reports/dashboards
- Demonstrate relational database and star schema design and implementation skills
- Demonstrate experience in the implementation of business intelligence tools (eg. Local Business Data Warehouse (SQL), Business Objects and Power BI) and performance-tuning of business intelligence systems
- Be abreast of the latest technologies and technological opportunities within the specific domain/area of expertise
- Must be a fast, independent and disciplined worker as well as a team player.
- Good team worker and able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
