Packing Executive

The Packing Executive is responsible for overseeing the packing operations in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards, ready for dispatch to customers or retailers. The individual will coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Packing and Labeling:
Ensure the accurate and safe packing of products according to company guidelines.

Use appropriate packing materials to minimize product damage during transit.

Accurately label products with shipping information, product codes, and other necessary details.

2. Quality Control:
Inspect products for defects or damages before packing.

Verify order accuracy, including the quantity and type of items, against packing lists.

Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with packaging standards and safety regulations.

3.Inventory Management:
Track and report inventory of packing materials and supplies.

Work with warehouse staff to maintain optimal stock levels and reorder materials as needed.

4. Order Fulfillment:
Coordinate with the logistics or shipping department to ensure orders are packed and dispatched on time.

Help with sorting, arranging, and preparing goods for dispatch.

5. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of packing activities, including inventory usage, order fulfillment status, and quality checks.

Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during the packing process to the supervisor or relevant department.

6. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure packing processes adhere to health and safety regulations.

Follow proper handling and lifting techniques to avoid accidents.

Stay up-to-date on any changes to safety standards and packaging protocols.

7. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with warehouse, quality control, and logistics teams to meet deadlines.

Train and guide junior packing staff as necessary to maintain consistency and quality in packing processes.

8. Continuous Improvement:
Suggest improvements for packing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges and develop solutions.

Required Qualifications:
**Education**:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 2 years with relevant experiences

Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.

Experience with packing machinery, tools, and materials is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with packing equipment and technologies.

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Working Conditions:
The Packing Executive will work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, which may involve standing, lifting, and manual handling for extended periods.

Compulsory to work shifts (NIGHT SHIFT) or overtime during peak periods or as needed.

Application Process:
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Night shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
