**Job description**

Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with MFRS/MPERS standards.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger, journal entries, and financial records. Handle statutory reporting (EPF, SOSCO, EIS, INCOME TAX &) (SST, income tax), and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.

Handle monthly payroll & Allowances for entire entities.(ESI (M) S/B, ESI BORNEO, AVA & SETIA ENGINEERING)
- Handle banking documents with the financial institution.

Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and cash flow projections.

Onside travelling & Project budget.

Monitor actual vs budget variances and provide analysis with corrective recommendations.

Track project-wise profitability and financial performance, especially for engineering and site-based services.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage supplier payments, staff claims, and reconcile accounts payable.

Oversee invoicing, debt collection, and customer account reconciliations.

Work closely with project and operations teams to ensure timely billing and accurate project costing.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor bank balances, manage petty cash, and ensure optimal fund utilization.

Internal Controls & Process Improvements
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.

Recommend and drive improvements in financial processes and reporting systems. Support for Operations & Projects
- Provide financial data and cost analysis to support transformer filtration, testing, refurbishment, and electrical maintenance projects.

Track capex and Opex related to maintenance equipment and testing tools.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / CPA / MIA Member) is an added advantage. 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance; prior exposure in engineering, construction, or service-based industries is preferred.

Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s financial regulations, SST, and tax requirements. Proficient in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, or equivalent) and MS Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Able to work independently, with attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
