The Merchandising Executive provides assistance relating to the implementation of the merchandising plans and product category strategies for the business. He/she is also responsible for the coordination of product sourcing activities and the collation of information for product development initiatives. He works in a dynamic environment where he regularly tracks relevant current and future consumer sales behaviours and trends. He/She is an energetic, organised and collaborative individual who is able to operate well in a team-based environment under pressure.

This person also contributes to the growth of the e-commerce business by supporting plans relating to marketing plans & customer experience. He/she provides feedback to maintain the technology and infrastructure required to sustain the e-commerce operations. In addition, he/she collates information to generate data-driven commercial insights and coordinates with business partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive category management and product assortments:

- Collate information pertaining to product sales and stock assortment
- Collate customers' feedback on product categories
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock
- Drive product development:

- Collate information pertaining to the factors influencing the new website product
- Synthesize consumer insights and market trends to merchandising strategies
- Contribute to product testing
- Coordinate production of new products
- Manage partner relationships
- Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders
- Collate feedback on quality and partnership
- Manage shopper marketing activities
- Collect information on sales trends
- Implement shopper promotional plans

**Requirements**:

- Good command of English is crucial - we need to have clear comms within the team and also to the rest of the group
- Experience in online selling (Have used platforms like Lazada/Shopee etc and Online webstores like Shopify etc
- Able to use SAAS Platforms - confident to try new platforms
- Good eye for detail (for QC purposes) - guidelines will be given
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus point (Optional but need to learn on the go)
- Fast learner, fast turn around times
- Flexible - Able to work on weekends (within reason) if required - Example : Weekend Sales need to be on standby to monitor any issues, or to execute codes at midnight
