Advise project management on environmental management requirements.
- Act as the liaison for environmental management with relevant authorities, such as the Department of Environment (DOE).
- Ensure the implementation of mitigation measures prescribed in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP), as well as good housekeeping on-site.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring and auditing programs in accordance with DOE requirements.
- Supervise and conduct daily inspections and in-situ performance measurements of pollution control measures. BMP structures, erosion and sediment controls, including perimeter drains, sediment basins, and slope protection.
- Regularly sample and test water around the workshop and mining area weekly, measuring ammonia nitrogen and pH levels.
- Conduct site environmental meetings every two (2) weeks with project management and relevant work teams.
- Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations related to the environment, occupational safety, and health matters. All statutory requirements concerning occupational health and safety, as well as internal safety policies, shall be adhered to by employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
- In collaboration with the relevant department heads or Mine Manager, formulate procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to address environmental, occupational safety, and health matters.
- Address any other matters relevant to the environment, occupational safety, and health.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
