Your role

As an Application Specialist you will manage and controls system development projects. Undertakes the most complex business analysis and software development work, typically requiring a deep knowledge of working practices and business processes in one or more business areas. Provides technical advice and guidance to colleagues to support the specification and development of software solutions.

As an Application Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:

- Quality checks program code, test plans/results, related objects, and documentation.
- Works with business as required.
- Analyzes programs to ensure that they efficiently use computer and storage resources; recommends appropriate changes as necessary
- Conducts system studies, analyzes, and evaluates existing computerized and manual systems/procedures to improve efficiency.
- Manages and controls system development projects.
- Supports the implementation activities, troubleshoots system environmental issues, provides training, as required.
- Gather requirement with user, prepare for SRS, Unit Testing SIT and UAT document.
- Prepare for implementation document.
- Standby during deployment.
- Attend CAB meeting.
- Support on production issue.
- Develop BE system using Universe Basic Programming and Accuterm Tools

As an Application Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

- Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in related field
- Must have basic IT architecture knowledge
