**Requirements**:
- Preferably Degree/Diploma in the field of Culinary Arts, Food Management, Food Science, Food Management, Food Technology or other relevant courses.
- Excellent Writing and Communication skills in English/Bahasa Malaysia..
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills are required.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Have more than 10 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position.
- Proven working experience as a Executive Chef
- Deep knowledge in food industry and trends.
- Well experienced in Asian cuisine. Preferably in Indonesian Cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of local, state and federal food sanitation regulations.
- Capable of delegating multiple tasks.
- Only Malaysian Citizens and PR need to apply.
**Responsibilities**
- Ensuring promptness, freshness and quality of dishes all the time.
- Ensure the kitchen and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in accordance with company standards and health code regulations.
- Create new recipes, planning menus and selecting plate presentation based on requirement by the Management.
- Ensure to always alert with a new culinary trends and recipes.
- Train, develops, motivates and supervise kitchen staffs to meet and exceed established food preparation standards on a consistent basis.
- Identify and learn new culinary techniques and presentations.
- Have a good knowledge in planning for profit and loss.
- Estimating food requirements and food/labor costs.
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs as required by the Management.
- Should be able to provide direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen.
- Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
- Ensure all products are prepared in a consistent manner and meet company's standard.
- Rectify arising problems or complaints from customers.
- Keep update and review the SOP related to the kitchen management and food preparation.
- Perform administrative duties such as daily, weekly and monthly report as required by the Management.
- Able to perform additional duties as requested by the Management.
