In order to continue driving success through our talented workforce, we currently have an opportunity for a Technical Consultant to provide remote pre-sales technical consulting services on HPE’s Hybrid IT products and solutions. This person will be supporting the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region and will work closely with our regional teams in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing. Users supported include Sales Executives, Inside Sales Representatives, HPE Pre-Sales Consultants and selected Channel Partners across the APJ region.
**Daily responsibilities include**:

Work closely with engineers in regional/ world-wide business unit teams to resolve complex requests, deliver technical support that meet country/region SLA in terms of quality and turn-around-time;
- Represent customers' technical issues and feedback to product business units, marketing teams and engineering labs to improve product and service quality; and
- Holiday coverage and back-up within the team to improve service availability and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in IT
- 3 - 5 years of technical experience (infra or coding)
**Knowledge and Skills Required**:

- Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable. Able to contribute to the design for deliverables.
- Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products.
- Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with the team and to peers.
- Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer.
- Language proficiency in English is essential, while Mandarin (business level) would be an added advantage.
