Job Description
Aforza is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to take a lead role in our talented Professional Services team. The Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying industry cloud solutions on the Salesforce platform. Working within an implementation team of Solution & Functional Consultants and Project Managers, the Senior Salesforce Technical Consultant will engage closely with customer stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

In addition to technical skills, a successful Senior Salesforce Technical Consultant must have strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel both within Aforza and customer organisations . They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. They should also stay up-to-date with the latest Aforza and Salesforce features and releases, and be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the organisation.

You'll use your extensive Aforza and Salesforce expertise, consulting skills, and thought leadership to produce creative and effective solutions, helping ensure end-to-end success with our industry leading products. Furthermore, as a leader within the Professional Services team, you will be responsible for enhancing our capabilities, building out process and tooling, and for mentoring and developing more junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Leverage your Aforza and Salesforce development expertise to deliver customer solutions.
• Engage with customers at all levels of seniority to understand detailed requirements and build complimentary Aforza solutions.
• Be an expert in all things Aforza, including the functionality of the Aforza desktop & mobile applications, configuration methods & techniques, and Consumer Goods industry best practices.
• Advise on integration architecture for Aforza, Salesforce, in-house, and common third-party ERP systems.
• Support customers in implementing Aforza & Salesforce security functionality.
• Undertake data load & migration activities during implementation projects to onboard new customers.
• Drive standards and technical excellence within the team and with partners, investing time in supporting colleagues with their development.
• Be responsible for defining and implementing Solution Governance standards to ensure the technical quality of all Aforza implementations.
• Enhance the Aforza delivery methodology with technical innovation.
• Work closely with the Aforza R&D team to advise the Aforza product roadmap based on current and future customer requirements and requests.
• Leverage industry-standard delivery methodologies and tooling, including agile delivery methods and related development operations (DevOps) applications.
• Maintain up-to-date Salesforce platform knowledge and certification, including but not limited to Platform App Builder and Platform Developer.

Requirements
Ideally you are someone with:

• 7+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, specifically designing and implementing transformations on the platform.
• Salesforce Certified with Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1, and Platform Developer 2. Application Architect would be a bonus.
• Highly skilled in the design & build of solutions using APEX, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Experienced in using agile methodologies across multiple projects, demonstrating best practice methods and tooling. Agile Scrum certification a plus.
• Experienced developing REST API integration.
• Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration, including managing profiles, teams, and security.
• Demonstrable evidence of innovation to improve the technical quality and efficiency of methods, processes and solutions.
• Experience in writing technical and functional documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Having a strong work ethic, initiative, and drive, you will have a bias for action and a comfort with data and insight analysis.
