We are an associate company of a public listed company on Bursa Malaysia, focused on delivering world-class data centre solutions. As part of our strategic expansion, we are looking for an experienced **Project Assistant Manager** to join our team for a high-profile data centre deployment project in Cyberjaya. This role requires expertise in data centre project management, strong collaboration skills with hyperscale customers and data centre operators, and the ability to bridge technical and financial teams for seamless project execution.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Coordination & Execution**:

- Assist the Senior Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of the data centre deployment, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
- Ensure project timelines, costs, and quality standards are met, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- **Stakeholder Management**:

- Act as a key point of contact between the project team, data centre operators, hyperscale customers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- **Technical & Financial Oversight**:

- Work closely with technical teams to understand the technical requirements and specifications of the data centre project.
- Coordinate with finance teams to track project budgets, cash flow, and expenditure, ensuring financial compliance and optimization.
- **Risk & Compliance Management**:

- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the data centre, IT infrastructure, or construction industries.
- Proven track record of managing complex data centre projects, with experience in working with hyperscale customers and data centre operators.
- Strong understanding of data centre design, development, and operational requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, finance, and development departments.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English. Ability to speak in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an added advantage.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including power and cooling systems, network connectivity, and security.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software such as MS Project, AutoCAD, or Primavera.
- Experience in handling project finances, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
