QA & Qc Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- **Conduct Quality Inspections Across Process Flow**

Carry out consistent and systematic quality checks at every critical control point, starting from the receipt of raw materials to the final distribution of finished goods, to ensure product integrity and compliance with internal and external standards.
- **Ensure Compliance with Halal and Food Safety Standards**

Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in monitoring and enforcing strict adherence to Halal certification requirements and food safety regulations in accordance with JAKIM and BKKM guidelines.
- **Documentation and Reporting**

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control activities and inspections. Compile scheduled reports for internal use and for submission to relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and organized documentation practices.
- **Support in Halal and Food Safety Documentation**

Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of all required documentation related to Halal certification, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
- **Product Testing and Analysis**

Perform detailed inspections and laboratory analysis on both imported and in-house products to verify conformity with quality specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- **Supplier Liaison for QA/QC Documentation**

Act as the main contact for suppliers regarding quality-related matters. Proactively liaise with suppliers to request, obtain, and verify all necessary documentation, such as Certificates of Analysis (COA), Halal certificates, MSDS, and any other relevant compliance documents.
- **Enforce SOP Compliance**

Monitor staff adherence to established production Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), particularly those related to safety, hygiene, and cleanliness, ensuring a culture of compliance and accountability across the production floor.
- **Machinery and Equipment Calibration**

Ensure all measuring instruments, machinery, and equipment are regularly calibrated, maintained, and operating accurately to avoid deviations that could affect product quality.
- **Pest Control Supervision**

Supervise and evaluate pest control activities carried out by appointed external contractors to ensure effectiveness and compliance with food safety standards.
- **Risk and Quality Deviation Management**

Identify, assess, and proactively address potential quality risks or deviations in the production process, implementing corrective and preventive measures to maintain product consistency.
- **Customer Complaint Management**

Investigate and respond promptly to any product quality-related complaints or feedback from customers, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- **Other Duties**

Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management from time to time in line with operational needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Diploma/Bachelor or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field of studies.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., JAKIM, BKKM).
- Possessed strong work ethics
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
