In 2002, we entered a long term lease at a new location along Penang Road the busy route of Georgetown, we renovated and converted the Cathay Theatre into a supermarket known as Mydin Wholesale Emporium. From then on, we never look back thus enhance our business further by opening 5 Mydin Hypermarkets in the northern region, in stages. In 2020, Iman Ikhlas (M) Sdn Bhd opened a new supermarket in Tanjong Tokong, Penang. It’s our first Sam’s Groceria outlet under Iman Ikhlas (M) Sdn Bhd.
