Lead and manage the team of engineers and operators to complete daily and scheduled checkup tasks on the paper machine’s Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Systems and handle any problems or malfunctions that may arise. -Ensure the checkup, start / stop paper machine procedures of the PLC systems are fully and correctly executed and problems are reported and resolved efficiently and effectively. -Monitor PLC systems for needed improvements; initiate upgrades and optimization activities to the control systems to increase the economy, quality, productivity, efficiency, and reliability of operations. -Attend local’s and group’s instrumentation collaboration workshop (ICW) to share knowledge and exchange ideas with other senior instrumentation engineers regarding cross systems interfacing, troubleshooting, and the adoption of new methodology and technology. -Responsible for the safety training and enforcement of engineers and operators related to the PLC systems’ equipment and environment
ND Paper was founded in 1995 and listed in Hong Kong on March 3, 2006, and is the first and only paper group with an annual production capacity of more than 10 million tons. ND Paper headquartered in Dongguan, Guangdong province, owns 8 production bases in China ( a total of 40 internationally advanced paper production lines, 5 specialty paper production lines and about 17,000 employees), and one production base in Vietnam, 4 pulp and paper mills in the United States (acquired in 2018). In 2019, Nine Dragons Paper acquired a pulp and paper mill in Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia, and invested about $ 1 billion in a papermaking base in Banting, Selangor, Malaysia. The base has a total land area of about 670 acres. We will build the world's advanced high-speed paper machines, supporting natural gas power plants, sewage treatment plants, office and dormitory living areas and other facilities on it. The completion of the project will provide more local employment opportunities and taxes revenue, and contribute its own strength to the development of Malaysia.
