**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Teaching and Learning**
- Utilize innovative, inclusive, and student-focused teaching strategies, incorporating both blended and online learning methods.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and internships, offering academic and career-related mentorship.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and revision of curricula to ensure alignment with industry trends and academic best practices.

**2. Research and Scholarship**
- Produce and disseminate high-impact research through publications in reputable academic journals and presentations at national and international conferences.
- Take a leading or active role in securing research funding and participating in collaborative research initiatives.
- Provide supervision for postgraduate research students at both Master's and PhD levels.
- Engage in scholarly activities that contribute to personal academic development and raise the research profile of the institution.

**3. Academic Leadership and Service**
- Guide and support early-career academics, while contributing to strategic academic planning and program development.
- Serve on departmental and institutional committees, supporting efforts in accreditation, quality assurance, and academic policy development.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and professional bodies to enhance learning and employment outcomes for students.
- Participate in student recruitment and retention activities, and support community outreach and engagement programs.

**QualificationsEssential Qualifications**:

- A **Master’s degree** in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more key IT areas such as software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence/machine learning, or data science.
- Experience in teaching at the tertiary level (university, college, or technical institute), with evidence of effective instructional techniques and student engagement.
- Involvement in academic project supervision, curriculum delivery, and course assessment.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to staying current with industry trends and technologies.
