Regional Logistic Specialist

The regional logistic team is hiring a ‘Regional Logistic Specialist’ who will responsible for Co-ordinating, Collection & Analysis of Data pertaining to Transportation and Logistics which will include both inbound and out bound from the manufacturing and distribution locations to the various locations globally with a primary focus in the APAC region. This person will be required to work with the plants, sales offices, dealer offices and service providers to proactively provide data and possible solutions to implement, influence, innovate and optimize the transportation and logistics process towards better reliability, agility, and cost management to meet the strategic initiatives and business plan.

**The duties and objectives of this role are to**:

- Collect Data from the various stakeholders /systems available from order receipt to goods delivery at destination and maintain a dashboard/file.
- Monitor shipments and trace shipment routes to ensure that the most efficient shipping and delivery methods are used for better reliability and costs.
- Assist customers with tracking shipments and address any problems or complaints they have with deliveries.
- Create reports/dashboard for the established KPIs to be reviewed on a regular interval.
- Develop standards and requirements pertaining to Transportation & Logistics.
- Help foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members.
- Evaluate service provider operations according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with IT or external parties to implement effective systems, wherever possible.

**Education/Experience**
- Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Professional Qualifications in Logistics & Transportation, Materials Management, Supply Chain (APICS or equivalent) would be an advantage.
- Experience in Data Mining & Reporting.
- Industry experience and familiarity with Supply chain and Logistics processes. ERP experience required, higher preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management)
