**About the Team**:

- The Business Intelligence team in Shopee is the custodian of data and connects Shopee's business development, marketing and operations teams. We support various departments on performance reporting, dashboarding and in depth analyses to provide key business insights.- Build and code automation solutions that programmatically do repetitive tasks, gather information, scrape websites or other sources, and to process the data gathered
- Document, maintain and continuously improve existing automated processes making sure that they are efficient, well-structured and sustainable in the long run
- Use and understand current automation, tools and the data workflows to enable business processes
- Identify problem gaps, recommend and implement new methodologies and workflows to reduce manual work
- Serve as in-house consultant for data-driven solutions
- Assist in analytics work as required, to drive actionable business decisions

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering/ Engineering field, or equivalent relevant academic qualifications
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms and Python programming
- Plus points if familiar witH Structured Query Language (SQL), Extensible Markup Language (XML) / HTML and web-page structures
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel
- Openness towards learning new technologies, willing and able to learn independently
- Good communication skills, good team player, collaborates well in cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented
