**Regulatory Affairs**

1. Prepare and manage product registration and notification submissions to local authorities (e.g., NPRA, MOH) as well as international authorities, including but not limited to:
i. China (e.g., NMPA for cosmetics)

ii. Indonesia (e.g., BPOM)

iii. Australia (e.g., NICNAS / AICIS)

iv. Other markets as required based on business expansion.

2. Ensure product packaging, labels, and marketing materials comply with regulatory requirements of each target country.

3. Liaise with local consultants or regulatory agents in respective countries to manage and track registration progress.

4. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance.

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements for all products, including labeling, packaging, and safety standards.

Maintain database of registration status, product licenses, and renewals for all countries involved.

**Halal Compliance**

1. Manage and coordinate Halal certification processes for Malaysia (JAKIM), as well as international halal certifications, including:
i. Indonesia (e.g., BPJPH - Halal Indonesia)

ii. Australia (recognized foreign Halal bodies)

iii. Other countries depending on export market requirements.

2. Compile and maintain halal documentation for each product, ensuring compliance with individual country standards.

3. Serve as liaison with halal certification bodies and coordinate halal audits or inspections.

Support the Internal Halal Committee (IHSC) and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS).

**Quality Compliance & Systems**

1. Implement and maintain internal quality systems such as GMP, ISO 9001, and Halal Assurance System.

2. Lead the implementation and monitoring of 5S practices across relevant areas.

3. Ensure that internal SOPs, documentation, and compliance processes align with audit and certification requirements.

Coordinate and support internal/external audits, including from authorities, certification bodies, and business partners.

**Incoming Product Quality Control (QC)**

1. Conduct or coordinate quality checks at the warehouse for finished products received from contract manufacturers.

2. Verify product conformance to quality standards (e.g., labelling, packaging, product integrity).

3. Document non-conformities and coordinate corrective/preventive actions with the supplier or manufacturer.

4. Support complaint investigations and customer feedback resolution related to product quality.

Monitor quality documentation for incoming stocks to ensure compliance with internal standards before release.

**Product Development & Support**

1. Conduct market research and product competitive analysis (including testing and reporting) to support innovation and product improvement.

Provide technical support to commercial and business teams.

**Training and Guidance**

1. Provide training and support to internal teams on regulatory requirements, procedures, and best practices.

Ensure that staff are informed about regulatory changes and compliance expectations.

**Record Keeping and Documentation**

1. Maintain accurate and organized records of regulatory submissions, approvals, and correspondence.

Ensure that all regulatory documentation is securely stored and easily accessible.
