Demand Planner

**Overview**:

- rhi are looking for an experienced Demand Planner to support our premium energy clients’ major Sales & Operations Planning function in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
- On offer is a 12 month contract (Potential of staff role) premium offices and WFH options

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models within our global Planning tool Kinaxis Maestro. This includes appropriately cleansing historical events, running robust statistical modelling, and deciding what is appropriate Intelligence to add looking forward.
- Monitor and analyze Demand planning KPI’s like forecast accuracy, forecast value add, forecast bias etc.
- Provide insights on demand trends, seasonality, and risks to improve planning accuracy.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by presenting the updated demand insights along with key changes to assumptions, working with the market S&OP Manager
- Participate and provide relevant inputs in the weekly S&OE & monthly S&OP meetings.
- Collaborate with other market teams and global Demand Planning Excellence lead to ensure adoption of required global frameworks and best practices.
- Continuously improve demand planning processes through data-driven insights and best practices.

**Key skills**
- Proven experience as a Demand Planner using an advanced digital Planning tool, desirably Kinaxis Maestro
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software (Kinaxis Maestro highly desirable) and ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4 Hana, JDE)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work effectively with Commercial and Sales teams based in other countries
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Must have**
- ** 5+ yrs of experience in a similar role.**:

- ** Good English speaker.... A bonus if you can speak Japanese**:

- ** Experience in sales & operation process**:

- ** Have in depth experience of planning tools eg SAP**:

- ** To be able to start in July (preferred)**

**Qualifications**:

- Post graduate degree preferably MBA but not essential
- ** Proven experience in a similiar role as Demand Planner in a large business/Corporate environment**
