**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Pastry Preparation and Presentation**:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of all pastry items, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
- Innovate and contribute ideas for new menu items, seasonal specials, and custom orders.
- **Kitchen Operations**:
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Pastry Chef for inventory and ordering needs.
- **Quality Control**:
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all pastry products meet the standards of the establishment.
- Regularly taste and inspect products to maintain flavor and presentation excellence.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the Pastry Chef and the rest of the culinary team to achieve seamless operations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff and kitchen assistants as required.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:
- Comply with all food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks.
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a professional pastry kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking principles, and decorative skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Passionate about pastry arts with a creative mindset.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
